Any day enjoying art away from the easle in the company of another creative becomes is a mini vacation.
Favorite destination, just down the road. Thriving with art galleries. Bedner’s Farm Fresh Market was a stop for a bite. Just a short jaunt from Art Warehouse. First Friday is coming up.

DelRay not far away. We spent time watching the world go by on Atlantic Ave. If the galleries were open, and they were we made their acquaintances. We found artists holding down the fort.

We started at the Art Warehouse. No rain, temperature cooling, we enjoyed the leisure stroll, into town just a few blocks south. We knew our itinerary having plotted it .
Strolling along the beautiful streets and visiting the galleries. At each one we asked where is the next closest gallery was. LOL

We passed a hidden Boutique Hotel recessed with sculptures flanking the entrance. A New children’s shop decked out w balloons for their grand opening. Spotted what I thought was a Little Free Library and approaching, it was not a LFL. A adorable sculpture with tin roofs.

We took a break at an Atlantic Ave cafe. And joined in the people watching parade. We were the only females among the alpha males. “ Watching the girls go by “

We wandered into the Mystery bookstore, I added a Daniel Silva espionage book to my collection. Then into the Library next door chatting w staff. Thought we could get a sandwich at Socrates cafe. The joke was on us Socrates is a literary discussion group. They used to have a cafe but lady retired. Their Library is a 501c3 just like ours, independent. Was interested and recently became friends w one of their board members, as I now serve on our Lake Worth Beach Library board.

Great day in DelRay Till the next Busman Holiday
